Introduction to Permaculture Class!
This one day intensive will introduce the ethics and principles of
permaculture design while delving into the practice of permaculture as a
way of gardening, home design and lifestyle. This class will include a
mix of class room study/lecture with hands on practice. John Creasy is
the executive director and founder of Garfield Community Farm,
Pittsburgh's largest permaculture farm. He's been leading the work of
Garfield Farm since 2009 while also developing Creasy Permaculture
Design. John has worked on over a dozen permacutlure projects in and
around Pittsburgh in the past ten years. This class is a great
introduction for those thinking of taking full two week Permaculture
Design Course, but is also perfect for anyone intersted in ecology and
gardenin.
