Done and Not so Done

Finally, there are some pictures of projects we've actually finished at the house. Of course there are still a bunch of half done projects (the kitchen, the exterior painting), and projects we'll get to much later (the living room, dining room, and the roof), but here are some that are done. There's Téah's room, our bed and junk is finally out (the three of us all lived in this room in July and August). And there's the floor in Alyssa and my room. Our room was nearly finished for about two months before I finally had time to put the finishing touches on it and put the poly on the floor. I forgot to take a picture of the whole room, but it looks good! Thanks Terry, Jason and Dad for all your help! Check out the exterior as of today. Still a lot to be done on the porch, but we're at least 85% done! One of my favorite things about the house is the entrance and hallway into the kitchen. Here it is. We spent a little extra on the floor in this area of the house. That's cardboard in the lower left corner on the floor.

John,

Your house is looking so good, I never knew you were so good at home remodeling! I can't wait to see it in person at Thanksgiving.
