Mystery
No, this is not going to be a "postmoderny" post on how we need to revel in the mystery of God (though we do).
Instead I will tell you a true story that is a current mystery. Help me solve it. Two days ago I noticed a package on the first stair of my house. It was a padded envelope with BJ's return address on it. Strange considering BJ lives less than a block away and we work in the same office. Why did he mail me something. I opened the package to find an old, used, book called, "God's Revolution and Man's Responsibility" by Harvey Cox. A post-it note said read this and we'll discuss it when you're done. Strange wording coming from BJ, it's more his style to talk about what we'll read together and not just send it to me with a post-it.
A few minutes ago BJ asked me why I mailed him the same book! The point is that I didn't!
Someone really wants us to read this book together, we're not sure who.
Anybody know anything about this book or Harvey Cox, I've heard of him, but don't remember anything. I found that he teaches at Harvard Divinity School.
