The Red Door Concert Series

From the Open Door to the Red Door! Alyssa, Téah, my mom and I are in West Orange New Jersey, near Newark. The concert we'll be playing tonight will be held in a 175 year old Episcopal church that is now the worship space for a community of Christian artists and musicians. They call themselves Lamb of God. Along with the church building they also own a huge farmhouse Victorian manse. A couple from the church lives here along with a few other people, they're working on restoring it and using it as a gathering place for the church and community. They gave us rooms to sleep and hang out in for the weekend. Because we left a day early, not knowing how long Téah would make the trip, we've had some time to chill out and relax. Today before the show we're going to a 9/11 memorial here in NJ where you can see almost all of NY city, it's an overlook on top of a place called Eagle Rock.
